PTS is proud to announce what we have been up to in 2007 regarding China:

Earlier this year, PTS formed Polymer Technology & Services, Hong Kong Limited (PTS HK), which has recently opened a Polymer Technology & Services HK Ltd. Shanghai Representative Office, located in the Dong Yi Building on Chang Shu Road in downtown Shanghai.

Staffing our Shanghai office is Carl Fu, our new PTS General Sales Manager - China, effective August 1, 2007. Carl comes from LG Chem., Ltd. where he was selling high end materials to both processors and end-users in Telecom, E/E, and automotive markets. He will lead the PTS China Team based in the Shanghai Representative office.

Liz Wu, our Office Assistant/Marketing Coordinator. Liz had previously been the Administrative person for HABUFA MEUBELEN B.V., a Dutch high-end furniture producer. She will help coordinate our communications between global end-users and processors, as well as assist in marketing and logistics with our China customers, end-users, and prospects.

Jim Bi is the new Technical Manager, effective Oct.10, 2007. He is based out of our Shanghai office. Jim used to work with DSM engineering plastics company. He has a lot of experience experience in injection process, application development, product design, tool design, and trouble shooting. He is very familiar with engineering plastics such as PC, PC Alloy, ABS, PA, PBT, POM, PPS, LCP, HTPA, TPE, and etc.
